NEW LABAP FORUM !?! OHH BOY IT’S ON!

Hey, it’s Tony from LearnAutoBodyAndPaint. Today’s topic is entitled NEW LABAP FORUM!?! OHH BOY IT’S ON!

I have some exciting news for all of you VIPs. We are in the middle of developing a brand new forum for the LearnAutoBodyAndPaint community and we’ll be using the chat feature. I did a survey in the past and a lot of people want to get into forums as not everyone is into Facebook.

I am still in the process of building it, so I can’t tell you the exact URL for it. This is going to be exciting so please do watch out for it.

This will be entirely free. It is open for VIPs and non-VIPs who want to share information and updates. There will also be a user feedback area where you can post your suggestions and recommendations.

If you want to be involved and be a forum moderator or simply just want to contribute, get involved and be a part of building this forum out, let me know.

Check out the video as I share you my screen and give you a sneak peek inside the forum.

Question: What do you sand the hard to reach spots with bumpers and corners? [24:15]

I always use 400-grit wet sand. You can literally use your hands and get in to those small areas.

Question: How many horsepower compressor should I use with an HVLP spray gun? [26:53]

The bigger the horsepower, the better it is. It’s mostly the size of your air tank. HVLP uses a lot of volume of air pressure for the spray gun.

You can’t be painting a car with a 30-gallon air compressor because you’ll be struggling most of the time to try and produce air volume.

If you have a small air compressor tank, you might want to switch to an LVLP spray gun. Unless, you are spraying small parts, wherein you can use a small air tank using HVLP because you’ll just be spraying for a short periods.

On the other hand, if you are spraying an entire car, you’ll be spraying for long periods of time. Hence, you’ll need air volume to back that up.
