They are all washed down and sanded with 400-grit, ready to prime. I’m cleaning everything down with the shop towels that we have. Then, we’re going to clean it up with the tack rag. You fill it, let it dry then block sand it with 400-grit to get it nice and flat. After which, we’ll wash the entire truck down and block sand with 400-grit wet sand. Remember, when you open up a filler, make sure to mix it up really well because the solvent starts to separate and you get a glazed water on top. Instead of dumping it out, you need to mix it back in. For every golf ball size of filler, you put about 6-8 drops of hardener. Of course, if you put more hardener, it will dry quick.
