Hi, it’s Tony from LearnAutoBodyAndPaint. Thank you for joining me today. Today’s topic is all about Atom X Spray Gun Tips.
This is an Atom X21 Spray Gun sent back by a customer because he said it wasn’t spraying correctly. Upon inspection, I noticed that this spray gun was dropped because the cap was bent.
If you drop your spray gun on the tip, you’ll definitely damage it because spray guns are really fragile items.

I gave the customer a brand new tip kit so now the Atom X21 Spray Gun is good to use again.
Always remember that you need to take care of your spray guns. Always clean them after use. They’re really precision-made equipment, so you absolutely need to take good care of them so they will last.
There are times that this packing nut will be a little bit loose when they come from the factory because they don’t want to tighten them too much. They want the user to adjust it themselves. You might have to adjust it before you use it.
If you feel that you have some air or a little bit of paint, get an 8mm wrench and tighten it up a little. You shouldn’t tighten it too much because the needle will get stuck as you spray. So, tighten it a little bit to stop the air or fluid leaking out. Most spray guns are like this when you buy them.
